Alma 26:16

"...Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of his great power, and of his mercy, and of his long-suffering towards the children of men? Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel." Alma 26:16

The Spirit is EVERYTHING!

Despite being sick, we had a great week! The spirit has been very present in the work we do and it guides us to the places where we need to be at the time we need to be there. Seriously! It is incredible. It has been happening for a couple of weeks now and we have been running into investigators and people we have the opportunity to help. The Lord is placing people in our path. He is answering our prayers in amazing ways!
Just for example, after having an appointment fall through, we headed for our Plan-B, on the way we found a woman hauling two very large loads of wood. Well she was hauling one and her 7 year-old son was struggling with the other. We stopped to help and lightened her load while dividing the other between us. So there we were the sister missionaries helping a sweet woman with her very heavy loads of wood. All the people in the streets (especially the men) looked at us strangely and no one offered to help, but it was a sweet experience. Afterward we tried talking to the woman but she could only speak Quechua, but understood a bit of Spanish, Trying to talk to her took me back to the beginning of my mission when I had to rely greatly on the whisperings of the spirit to understand what people were saying. But miraculously (through the same way) she understood us and we understood her. She has 9 children! and is 45. She is a very strong woman and it was a delight to be able to help her.
In other news, it was Charles birthday this week, we went with Raul and Sheyla to eat cake and celebrate a little bit (Now Raul and Shey understand how Hna Reina can fill one's stomach. haha) But we made him a nice card and included a picture of Christ and gave him one of the ties Nick sent me. Thanks Nick! Hno. Raul was so excited to buy Charles a present and he ran and picked out a nice button-up shirt which Charles wore to church this Sunday. How cute, right? :) Anyways, Charles is progressing very well. He is reading in the Book of Mormon and understanding more and more. I had the impression to leave with him the Joseph Smith movie (the hour one) and he watched it and all the other videos in the disc. (he likes videos) He said he was very impacted by the video about John Tanner. Anyways, with all this we will again prayerfully try to set a date to be baptized. :)
Amy is such a sweetie. She always comes to the activities and to church. She is reading the pamphlets and the Book of Mormon. She is our miracle. I don't know if you remember that she entered the church the first day Hermana Lozano and I were here together in Andahuaylas? Well it is beautiful to see her progress. We are pushing back her baptismal date to help her prepare more. This week we talked alot about Chastity and eternal marriage and it just so happened that they also talked about temples in Relief Society. Afterward, she commented that she wants to get married in a temple and be sealed to a good man for time and all eternity. :) We can see that she has that potential and that she is one of Heavenly Father's precious daughters that he wants to get back on track. That's why we're here.
Anyways, we are just seeing blessings and miracles and more!
I love this work and I love being a missionary!
Love you all! Have a wonderful week and stay happy, healthy, and safe!
